About GB Freedom Party
Fighting for Britain's Freedom
GB Freedom Party is a registered political party in Great Britain, founded in 2025 and fully registered with the Electoral Commission. We exist to give a voice to ordinary British people who feel ignored by the political establishment. Our mission is to defend national sovereignty, protect individual freedoms and build a Britain that works for the people who built it.
Our story
Built in Kent. For Kent.
GB Freedom Party was founded in 2025 by Daniel Dabin, a Kent-based wealth manager and director of London International Corporation Ltd. The party is registered with the Electoral Commission as registration number PP18062, with its registered office in Strood, Kent.
We were founded for a simple reason: ordinary residents in Kent and Medway have been left without a serious party that takes the small things seriously. The potholes that wreck local roads. The HMOs that hollow out streets. The council tax bills that climb every year while bins go uncollected. The big national parties either ignore Kent or treat it as a vote bank to mine before drifting back to Westminster. We were built the other way round — from the ground up, in Kent, by people who actually live here.
The party is registered, regulated and accountable. Its constitution is publicly available, its officers are listed with the Electoral Commission, and every decision a GB Freedom councillor makes will be answerable, in public, to the residents of the area they represent.
Our position
Common sense, locally rooted.
GB Freedom Party stands for a clear set of principles. We believe in personal responsibility, lower taxes, smaller bureaucracy, and a state that protects its citizens rather than lecturing them. We believe in British sovereignty, secure borders, and the equal application of the law. We believe in defending the country’s traditions and freedoms, including freedom of speech and the right of communities to make their own decisions.
But we are not a Westminster party trying to look local. We are a Kent party that takes the national conversation seriously where it touches our streets and our families — and ignores it where it doesn’t. The first job of a councillor is to fix what is in front of them, not to grandstand about what is happening 60 miles away.
We don’t define ourselves by who we are against. We define ourselves by what we are for: the people of Kent and Medway, the streets they live on, and the future they want for their children.
Member-led, not whip-led
A different way of doing politics.
Three things separate GB Freedom from the parties Kent has had until now:
Members select candidates. Our members — not party headquarters, not a national selection committee, not a Westminster patron — choose the people who stand under our colours. Constituents and members live in the same community; they are best placed to know who can represent it well.
No whip on conscience votes. GB Freedom councillors and elected representatives are bound by their conscience and their commitments to constituents, not by the orders of a party machine. Whips exist to deliver national party priorities; we exist to deliver Kent priorities. Where the two align, you’ll find us voting together. Where they don’t, our representatives are free to vote for the people who elected them.
Kent leadership, Kent decisions. The party’s officers, candidates and members are rooted in Kent and Medway. Decisions about the party are made here, not in a London office. That isn’t a slogan — it’s a structural choice that flows through the constitution.
Founding principles
What we will defend, in every chamber.
Everything we do is guided by the founding principles of GB Freedom:
- Defence of British sovereignty against supranational overreach.
- Promotion of national unity, economic independence, and border security.
- Preservation of British traditions, including common law.
- Protection of freedom of speech and personal liberties, the pursuit of lower taxes, and the reduction of the bureaucratic state.
These aren’t just words on a page. They are the principles we will take into every council chamber, every election, and every decision we make on your behalf. Read them in detail in our policy programme.
